SANS 10400-T · CIPC Verified · SABS Approved Chemicals
SafeFire connects property owners with vetted flame retardant applicators — and gives those applicators the tools to generate legally robust, tamper-proof Certificates of Compliance in minutes. Every certificate and every applicator badge verifies with one scan: the document, the person, their training declarations and their chemicals.
How SafeFire Works
From finding a vetted applicator to verifying their certificate — every step is backed by real credential checks.
Search by location to find accredited applicators near you. Every listing is credential-gated — only applicators with current CIPC registration, SARS tax compliance, and valid SABS/Firelab chemical test reports appear here.
Applicators can only log jobs using chemicals from SafeFire's pre-approved, SANS 10177-tested list. No unapproved product can be recorded — which means every CoC references a verifiably compliant chemical by batch number.
Log the job details, upload before/after photos, enter the batch number and square meterage — then pay the platform fee to unlock a tamper-proof PDF CoC with your company logo, the SafeFire Verified stamp, and a unique QR code that clients can scan to confirm authenticity.
For Property Owners, Venues & Event Spaces
Before accepting any CoC, verify it's authentic. SafeFire's QR verification confirms the certificate is genuine, unrevoked, and issued by a credentialled applicator.
Quick Lookup
Enter the reference number from any SafeFire CoC or scan the QR code on the document.
The reference number appears at the bottom of every SafeFire certificate PDF.
For Chemical Suppliers & Manufacturers
SafeFire applicators can only log jobs and issue certificates with chemicals from the approved registry. If your product isn't listed, it can't be certified with — if it is, every certified application is recorded against it, batch number and all.
Applicators declare which of your chemicals they use and upload proof of purchase. Suspect usage? Raise a query — SafeFire requests the invoice. Counterfeit and decanted product gets visible.
Supplier reporting shows litres used and certificates issued per month and region — never applicator identities or their clients. Applicators' customers stay theirs; your product data stays yours. Supplier accounts are rolling out.
Every applicator training on SafeFire studies chemical modules built from your data sheets — your specifications, applied correctly, on record.
Free to list. SafeFire reviews your product documentation (TDS, SDS, test reports) before approval.
For Insurers, Underwriters & Fire Inspectors
When a fire-retardant treatment is claimed on a risk, the usual evidence is an unverifiable paper certificate. Every SafeFire certificate — and every applicator badge — carries a QR code that resolves to a live, immutable record.
Scan the certificate: genuine, unrevoked, unaltered — or not on record at all. A ten-second check replaces a paper chase.
Every certificate records the exact approved chemical, batch number, coverage and treated area — linked to the manufacturer's test certification.
Applicator badges verify the person on site: identity, training declarations, declared chemicals and live membership status.
Fire departments, inspectors and health & safety officers: verified accounts with certificate-request access are rolling out — registration requires proof of official capacity, and certificate details are shared with the applicator's consent. Public QR verification needs no account and is always free.
